I know next time I find myself up there I will have first plotted all of my “I want to go to there” destinations based on the KnowWhere Guide! I loved the atmosphere of Roanoke and when we went to Billy’s, it is a 1920’s era brick building restaurant with classic cocktails and fresh seasonal menu options. I had a dry martini and a supper salad with fried oysters, we sampled beer at Deschutes, flights are always the best way to go for a date night if you want to sample all that a brewery has to offer responsibly. We had a nightcap at the Historic Hotel Roanoke and I was already thinking about planning our next trip.
